Our Journey to becoming Veery Capital
Over the years, we’ve celebrated exciting milestones, expanded the services we offer both our individual and institutional clients, and grown our team.
When deciding on a new name for our business, we wanted something that not only speaks to our Delaware roots, but to who we have grown into over the past decade.

When deciding on a new name for our business, we wanted something that not only speaks to our Delaware roots, but to who we have grown into over the past decade.
We are proud of the name Veery Capital and want to take a few moments to explain why it’s the perfect fit for us.
About the Veery
The veery is a songbird that spends its winters in central and southern Brazil. We are familiar with the veery because they migrate to Delaware each spring to build their nests and lay eggs in White Clay Creek State Park.
Recent research out of Delaware State University found that veeries are risk management masters. The veery shorten their breeding season in years when the Atlantic hurricane season is more severe.
In other words, veeries can sense how severe the upcoming hurricane season will be and shift their migratory patterns accordingly to ensure safe travel back to Brazil.
